UIN Online – The students of year intake 2012 of English Language and Literature Department of (ELLD) of Adab and Humanity Faculty (AHF) of Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN Alauddin) of Makassar held drama performances, poetry and film. Samata, Monday, January 12th, 2015.

The event took the theme "And Now You See Asia". Hardilla, the committee chief when confirmed on the theme, stated that the art exhibition consisted of film screenings, poetry and drama raised culture in Asia.

"Our seniors often raised western culture. This time, we want to have a different value by raising the Asian culture, "he explained.

The event carried out in two day, from January 12 to 13 in the auditorium, was opened by the Vice Dean of the Student Affairs and Cooperation of AHF, Muh. Dahlan. "Amazingly, this is another way to learn. Once again, the Department of English Language and Literature has given the faculty a good image," he added.

There were three movie titles created by the students of ELLD, some poetry and dramas from various cultures in Asia, such as, ‘Layla and Majnun’ from Arab, ‘Ramayana’ from India and various other performances.
