UIN Online - Four students of English and Literature Department (BSI) of Adab and Humanity Faculty (FAH) of UIN Alauddin conduct internship program at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Directorate of Public Diplomacy. Those four students are Suharwana Syarif, La Ode Gali Gantara, Ilham Aidil, and Haerul Hamka.

This activity received a good response from the Vice Dean of Administration of Adab and Humanity Faculty, Dr. Hj. Susmihara, M.Pd. According to her, this activity proved that the students from Makassar were also able to compete in the national level, and they did not just demonstrate on the roadside. Besides, she added that learning from the experience last year, many students were rejected to work in the various ministries because of their diploma from Makassar, where the Makassar students had stereotype as the demonstration students, "I hope that those four students who conduct the internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can give the positive effect that Makassar students are not as they think," said Dr. Susmihara.

This activity lasts for two months, starting from April to May, 2014. This activity is also coupled with various international activities programmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
