UIN Online – There are two lines of freshmen admission at UIN Alauddin Makassar that have been opened. Those are SNMPTN and SBMPTN, and SPAN – PTAIN and UM – PTAIN.

For the academic year 2014/2015, UIN Alauddin will receive freshmen through four lines, SNMPTN, SPAN - PTAIN, UM - PTAIN, UMM, and UMK.

The freshmen admission should meet the principles of fair and non-discriminatory to not distinguish gender, religion, ethnicity, race, social status, and economic ability level of the freshmen candidates as well as taking into account the freshmen candidate potential and the university specificity.

The SNMPN line itself has been opened and started filling PDSS from January 6 to March 6, 2014, and the registration is on February 17 to March 31, 2014 for free, as well as adjusting SBMPTN. Then the registration of SPAN-PTAIN starts from February 18 to April 30, 2014 for free, and UM - PTAIN registration starts from May 6 to June 20, 2014.

Both lines are National lines which have been provided to the prospective applicants to the provided quota as many as 2500.

Dra. Hj. Masnawati, MM., the head of Academic Affair Department, expected that the selection process is running according to the time specified and the registrants can follow the selection process well .

"hopefully, both lines of freshmen admission can used as well as possible and they are followed in accordance with the established procedures," she said that when met her at her office.

Then, the candidate who passes the exam will follow the compulsory program of UIN Alauddin namely Character Building Program (CBP), which consists of Placement Test, reading and writing the Qur’an, PIBA (Foreign Language Intensification Program), and CBT (Character Building Training).
